"A town with no connection to the outside world"

 "The immortal region or myth of Shangri-La in northern Burma full of mysteries".The name was first coined in the 1993 book James Hilton.

Shangri-La's story is based on the ancient Tibetan capital of Shanbala.In mythology, Shangri-La is home to a strange people who have no connection to the outside world.
The region is considered to be one of the greenest areas in the world and a place where the Dharma flourishes.
Shangri-La, where the Yangtze River flows, is truly legendary and a wonderful place at the southern tip of China's Yunnan Province.
Surrounded by mountains in the western Himalayas, this lush area is geographically close to the novel Shangri-La. The Shangri-La Resort in the area is also a popular tourist attraction.
