State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced to four years in prison on two counts. President Win Myint was sentenced to four years in prison in two cases and Dr Myo Aung, chairman of the Naypyidaw Council, was sentenced to two years in one case, a judicial source confirmed.
State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi and President U Win Myint were sentenced to two years in prison under the Disaster Management Law. He was sentenced to two years in prison under Section 505, for a total of four years.
