UB issues security ready after phishing assault

Bison, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo Police took to online media Thursday to caution understudies and staff about a new phishing assault.

The security alert was given Wednesday evening after the UB Information Security Office got various reports of a dubious email that was shipped off UB email addresses.
As per the ready, the email professed to be COVID-19 experimental outcomes, which contained a connection. The email seemed, by all accounts, to be sent from "Bison" and had the title "Coronavirus Test#xxxxx" (instead of xxxxx were irregular digits), and was shipped off various individuals in the UB people group.
The individuals who got an email like this are being told to erase it right away. Try not to open any connections or snap on any of the connections in the email.
